Problem:

You would like to disable zipped compressed folder support.


Solution:

Click Start > Run...
Type regsvr32 /u %windir%\system32\zipfldr.dll
Click the OK button.


To reenable:

Click Start > Run...
Type regsvr32 %windir%\system32\zipfldr.dll
Click the OK button.
