Computer Manufacturers are shipping computers without service packs, security updates and patches applied. This is the equivalent of holding doors opened for criminals to gain wrongful entry to building complexes around the globe.
We strongly urge computer manufacturers to apply service packs, security patches and updates to the computers they sell to help prevent future exploits of known security flaws which can easily be corrected.
Documentation should also be provided that clearly outlines how to check for and apply security patches and updates.
