MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - August 5, 2010 - Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC) today announced that Symantec Backup Exec and Enterprise Vault were recognized as 2010 Best Channel Products based on a survey of the VAR community conducted by Business Solutions Magazine and Penn State University. The survey asked Business Solution’s VAR subscribers to rate vendor solutions in five categories: richness of features, ease of configurability, reliability, ease of upgrade and the opportunities they present for VARs.
