The Points of Light Institute awarded Intel and three other companies the 2010 Corporate Engagement Award of Excellence for their extraordinary corporate volunteer programs. Intel was specifically recognized for its employees volunteering 1.3 million hours worldwide during the company's 40th anniversary.
