02.01.2010 - Intel® Leibniz Challenge - The First Task

The fourth Intel Leibniz Challenge starts today, with the team topic of "Chip Design with focus on verification and examination." The contest, which is hosted by Intel and the Leibniz University Hanover and supported by the Initiative D2, aims to arouse the interest of pupils in natural and technical sciences and to introduce them to the profession of engineers. Since the beginning of the application period, more than 1,700 pupils have registered for the challenge. Among them there are teams from Brasil, Mexico, Poland and New Zealand as well as three teams from the United States. The registration for the contest is possible until February 28th, 2010.
