As more people and devices connect to the Internet, Intel executive, Anand Chandrasekher, discussed how the company is addressing this growing market opportunity by delivering leading-edge, high-performance technologies with lower power envelopes, smaller packages and reduced costs. Chandrasekher showcased a range of Atom-based designs, including Compal's "KAX 15" MID. He demonstrated up to 50x (yes, 50 times) platform idle power reduction on Intel's "Moorestown" platform, and displayed first form factors from Aava Mobile, CCI, EB, Inventec and Quanta.
