TreeHugger recognized Intel's commitment to renewable energy by naming it the "Best Effort by a Large Corporation" in the Business and Politics category of the inaugural Best of Green Awards. Intel's renewable energy credits make up 46% of its US electricity usage and make the company the single largest purchaser of green power in the US.
