08.226.2008 - Intel unveils USB 3.0 silicon 'Dummies Guide'

Intel today announced the availabilty of its draft Extensible Host Controller Interface (xHCI) specification. This is a 'Dummies Guide' to building silicon chips that support the new USB 3.0 standard (also known as SuperSpeed USB). Intel is making this specification available royalty free. The industry is keen to adopt a single standard in order to ensure great interoperability between USB 3.0 devices.
