Ian Ziering, who is as caregiver for his father (and one of the more than 50 million caregivers in the U.S. alone), has joined forces with Intel to launch ConnectingForCare.com, an online community that will allow professional and family caregivers to connect with one another. ConnectingForCare.com was unveiled yesterday at a media event in New York City and is the first Web site for family caregivers, nurses, social workers and others to share information and provide emotional support. By developing the site, Intel hopes to fill a void in communication among caregivers.
