05.126.2003 - The Sims 2 Announced

Electronic Arts announced its plans today for the next chapter in its popular series of people simulator games, The Sims. The next game in the series, The Sims 2, will offer all-new gameplay mechanics, the addition of genetics, and a brand new 3D environments. The game is currently under development at Maxis and will be unveiled for the first time next week at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles on May 13th.
