As many of you may have noticed we are introducing several new bits of code on TACKtech.
- News Archive Viewer 2.2. - This project focused on filling several different requirements: a slimmer news navigation system, quicker page loading (10x faster), and room for expansion.
- Enhanced Main Article Page - The new Article Main Page give visitors interested in articles a better page to start from. Article sections are now described as requested by some of our visitors. The Recent Articles list has been moved from the Left Navigation to this page. The Featured Articles list will remain on the Left Navigation panel. A Top 10 Most Popular list is displayed on the new Article Main Page allowing them to be found quickly. A link to the Top 100 articles can be found on this page as well.
- New Top 100 Code - We have been wanting to update the code for the Top 100 for some time. We tweaked the code and managed to get it to load 3x faster.
- Several other minor code changes.

New features will be added as they are completed. Links previously found on the left NAVIGATION bar can be found at the top of the page. Article categories will be displayed after clicking the Articles link. Themes have been disabled until the templates are complete. Users will finally have to update to at least 800x600 because we are feeling constrained maintaining 640x480 compatibility.
