Problem: Internet Explorer 7 automatically installs on computers running Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Server 2003.
Solution:
Launch RegEdit.
Add the following information into the registry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Setup\7.0]
"DoNotAllowIE70"=dword:00000001
