Many advanced user are annoyed by Microsoft's new User Account Control (UAC), a new security component of Windows Vista. UAC enables users to perform common tasks as non-administrators, called standard users in Windows Vista, and as administrators without having to switch users, log off, or use Run As.
This Step-By-Step Guide will show how to prevent Administrators from being prompted by the UAC dialog, on Windows Vista Business and Windows Vista Ultimate.
* Non-administrators will still retain the original User Account Control (UAC) configuration.
Click the Vista Start Orb.
Type secpol.msc + [Enter] into the Start Search textbox on the Start Menu.
Click the Continue button when the User Account Control dialog appears.
On the Local Security Policy window:
Select Local Policies > Security Options,
from the Local Security Settings console tree.
In the Right Pane, scroll down to and Double-Click User Account Control: Behavior of the elevation prompt for administrators in Admin Approval Mode.
Select Elevate without prompting, from the drop-down menu.
Click the OK button.
Close the Local Security Policy window.
