Launch RegEdit.

Navigate to the following location:

Change/create the DWORD value of the Key ShowCompColor.

0 = disabled
1 = enabled

Registry Editor
Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer]
Value Name: ShowCompColor
Data Type: DWORD
Default Value: 0x00000001 (1) = enabled
0x00000001 (0) = disabled
