The Flipper X is manufactured out of neoprene, neoprene is a product of DOW Industries, and it resists degradation from sun, weather, and handles contact with oils and chemicals very well.
We tested the case with an iPAQ 3700 series PDA and sent it through a typical week involving visits to the gym, classes, and countless hours at work. The Flipper X held up well – it still looks brand new, but more importantly, it did its job protecting our PDA against the elements. All the flaps on the Flipper X are reinforced to keep the screen of your PDA protected . The Flipper X features a belt clip, which can sometimes be hard to remove quickly to catch those last minute details.
It is a fairly simple procedure to start protecting your PDA. All you have to do is attach two pieces of velcro to the back of your PDA and stick it in the case. We weren't too happy with this method, as we all know velcro isn't the strongest thing in the world. Using velcro to hold our several hundred-dollar buddy doesn’t give you the best feeling in the world. However, we didn't have any problems with our PDA coming loose.
Conclusion:
E&B Company's cases retail from around $20 - $50, when you take this into consideration that price is not much to pay for keeping your PDA protected and PDA accessories organized. This case will work with many different PDAs, so when the time comes to purchase a new PDA your current E&B case should continue to be compatible with your new PDA. I would recommend the Flipper X from E&B Company.
