Would you like to download all the setup file for Internet Explorer so you only have to download it once. Well you can. All you need to do is download the ieXsetup.exe file. X is the version you are using. I am doing this with IE 6.0 SP1.
This example assumes you save the setup file to the root of E:. You may substitute the E: with whatever drive or path you desire.
Download the Internet Explorer Setup File from this page.
Click on Start > Run...
In the Open: text box type the following command:
E:\ie6setup.exe /c:" ie6wzd /D:1"
Click the OK button.
Read the EULA.
If you agree select I accept the agreement.
Click the Next > button.
Either type where you would like to save the installation files in the Folder to download installation files:
-or-
Click the Browse... button to locate where to save to.
Select the operating systems you want to download the files for.
Click the Next > button.

Wait for the files to download. This could take some time, as the full download is approximately 51MB.

The files are in your directory you specified.
Click the OK button.

The final step is to copy the ie6setup.exe file to your download directory. You can run that file to install Internet Explorer on your system.
