Giving mapped network shares meaningful names (TTID #16)

In the root of a network share, you can create a desktop.ini file, which specifies the display name for the share which will be used in place of the typical "share on server". you can also display a comment to be displayed in the Comment column.

Example:

[.ShellClassInfo]
NetShareDisplayName=Client Research Documents
InfoTip=Documents pertaining to our clients
