Dell, confirming analyst speculation, said Tuesday it has reached an agreement to work with the Lexington, Ky.-based printer maker to create a line of Dell-branded inkjet and laser printers. The Inquirer has posted an article with a quoted letter from Seagate. The Letter states that all of Seagate desktop and personal storage products shipped after the October 1st will carry a one-year limited warranty. This is to follow suit with Maxtor and Western Digital whom both recently annoucced that the warranties issued by them will be one-year.

Today, Maxtor announced that they have started to ship the DiamondMax 16, DiamondMax Plus 9, DiamondMax Plus 8, and Fireball 3 hard drives.
