Medical Device and Diagnostic Industry magazine today awarded silver recognition to the Intel® Reader in the 2010 Medical Design Excellence Awards (MDEA) competition. The Intel Reader, a mobile handheld device that takes a picture of printed text and reads it aloud to the user, was nominated in the Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology Products category.
