Removing the Norton Auto-Protect icon in the systray (TTID #169)

If you dislike having tons of icons displayed in your system tray then when Norton AntiVirus dropped another one in there I bet you were thrilled.

Good News it's easy to prevent the icon from being displayed.


1.) Right Click the Norton AntiVirus Auto-Protect icon.
2.) Left Click Configure Norton AntiVirus.

*If Auto-Protect is not highlighted on the left menu click on it.

3.) Remove the check from Show the Auto-Protect icon in the tray.
4.) Click the OK button.
